A. Coverage
This limited warranty shall be for luggage manufactured by Traveller of the Future Corporation, and such limited warranty applies to original Gala branded luggage (“the luggage”) manufactured by Traveller of the Future Corporation and purchased directly from its online website at https://www.galatravel.co/
Original luggage purchased through unauthorized channels or fake/non-original luggage shall not be covered by the limited warranty.
The warranty may only be claimed by the owner of the luggage with the corresponding order invoice (requested for upon availment of warranty). This warranty is not transferable.
This limited warranty applies to defects or breakages in the following essential parts of any Gala luggage:
- Wheels
- Zippers
- Plastic handles
- Telescopic handles
- TSA locks
- Plastic stands
B. Exceptions to Warranty Coverage
Other forms of defects/occurrences not listed above shall not be covered by this warranty. These include, but not limited to, the following:
- Scratches on the shell that develop from normal use
- Cracks on the shell that are caused by improper use or mishandling
- Tears on the inner fabric over time
- Freebies that come with the luggage (power banks, bag tag, canvas laundry bag, polyester shoe bag)
- Dropping the luggage from a height
- Overstuffing the luggage beyond capacity
- Dragging luggage up or down stairs
- Exposure to chemicals
- Using luggage for unintended purposes such as sitting on it
- Exposure to extreme temperatures that might cause material damage
C. Availment of Warranty Coverage
The owner shall be entitled to the following within the ten (10) year warranty period:
- Two (2) free repairs
Subsequent repairs, which are done after the two (2) free repairs under this limited warranty, shall be subject to additional repair fees, depending on the extent of the damage.
D. Responsibilities of the Owner
The owner shall be responsible for any related shipping fees, whether sending the luggage in for repair, or for the delivery of the luggage or spare parts from the repair shop of the company to his/her location.
It is recommended that the owner uses tracked and insured shipping methods to prevent loss or damage during transit.
The owner also understands that sending a luggage to the company to repair two separate parts shall count as two separate repairs.
E. Warranty Assessment
The owner must email us a photo of their ID and order Invoice. The owner must provide photo and video proof of the breakage for approval before sending the luggage to the warehouse. Luggage must also still be within the limited warranty period.
The company shall than assess whether or not the luggage meets the qualifications for repair. The company shall notify the owner fifteen (15) days from the time photo and video proof was sent to the warehouse, whether or not the request for repair is approved along with an estimated repair time.
F. Liability Limitation
The Company’s total liability will not exceed the purchase price paid for the luggage giving rise to such liability.
The Company’s liability limitation does not include incidental or consequential damages. The owner of the luggage shall be responsible/liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the luggage.
G. Governing Law and Jurisdiction/Venue
This Luggage Warranty and any action related thereto will be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
All disputes shall first go through the proper mediation/arbitration proceedings for the possible prompt resolution thereof. Should mediation/arbitration fail, the parties may opt to bring the dispute to the Courts.
The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for all disputes that company and owner may have, arising from this matter, will be the mediation/arbitration centers and/or Courts in Makati City, Philippines, to the exclusion of the other mediation/arbitration centers/ Courts.
